How to use the search without the live ajax feature, as a regular search?

Ajax Search Pro is also a fully functional simple search, you can turn off the live search feature very easily.

Open up the Search Behavior -> Live Search Triggers panel and make sure to turn OFF all of the options.

You should also check the magnifier and return button triggers under the Search Behavior -> Magnifier & Return Actions subpanel.
