# How to search users by city, state, zip code… ?

WooCommerce stores each of the Billing and Shipping data fields as user meta fields – thus allowing Ajax Search Pro to search through them.

User meta fields are used in WordPress to allow plugin developers to store additional user data (like city, state etc..). These fields are also searchable with Ajax Search Pro. To search these meta fields, list their names (comma separated) in the **Search in following user meta fields** option on the **General Options -> User Search** options panel.

Here is a table with the WooCommerce profile field names, since they are not visible on the profile panel:

**Example:** You want to search the *billing first name, billing last name and the shipping company and shipping postcode*, then based on the table you should enter: `billing_first_name, billing_last_name, shipping_company, shipping_postcode` like so:

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledgebase.ajaxsearchpro.com/miscellaneous/woocommerce/how-to-search-users-by-city-state-zip-code....md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
